With over 15 years of expertise in real estate, compliance, and public relations, Alexsis Blakely is a dynamic entrepreneur passionate about creating high-impact, community-centered projects. Drawing inspiration from her upbringing in Spanish Harlem, New York City—home to the nation’s highest concentration of public housing—she has dedicated her career to fostering equitable development and transformative spaces.

As the co-founder of an award-winning DC-based real estate development and advisory firm, Alexsis helped lead the charge in delivering innovative solutions for multifamily housing and community-driven projects.


Alexsis’ expertise spans development management, financing, New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) transactions, and owners' representative services. Her active projects range in value from $24M to $1.5B, showcasing her ability to navigate complex, high-stakes initiatives with precision and care.

She has also been recognized as an alumna of Capital Impact Partners' Equitable Development Initiative, the Amazon-funded Housing Equity Accelerator Fellowship (HEAF) program, Wacif’s Ascend.Her Capital Accelerator.

Alexsis earned her B.A. from Wesleyan University and is a proud alumna of The Hotchkiss School and the Prep for Prep 9 program.
